This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website or submit a loan request through our free online connector service. We are not a lender. Because our service exists to share your request with lenders and partners who may offer you credit, sharing is central to what we do, and we want you to understand it before you submit any information.

By using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit a request.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us on the loan request form, information gathered automatically when you use our website, and information we receive from lenders, partners, and data verification providers.

Information you provide

  • Identity details: name, date of birth, and Social Security number or a portion of it
  • Contact details: home address, email address, and phone numbers
  • Financial details: income amount and source, pay frequency, employment information, housing status, and bank account information used for deposit and repayment
  • Loan details: requested amount, loan purpose, and similar answers on the form
  • Messages you send to our support team

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and time spent on pages
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address

Information from third parties

We may receive information from lenders about the status of your request, from identity and fraud-prevention services that help confirm your details, and from advertising partners that tell us how you reached our site.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process your loan request, match it with lenders and partners in our network, communicate with you, prevent fraud, improve our website, and meet our legal obligations.

  • Delivering your request to lenders and partners who may make you an offer
  • Verifying your identity and helping detect fraudulent or duplicate requests
  • Sending you transactional messages about your request, and marketing messages where permitted by law and your consent
  • Responding to your questions, complaints, and privacy requests
  • Analyzing how visitors use our site so we can fix problems and improve content
  • Complying with laws, regulations, legal process, and requests from government authorities

We do not use your information to make credit decisions. Lenders make those decisions using their own criteria.

How We Share Information With Lenders and Partners

When you submit a request, we share the information on your form with lenders in our network, and we may also share it with marketing partners that offer related financial products or services.

Lenders that receive your information may use it to evaluate your request, run soft or hard credit checks, verify your identity and income, and contact you by phone, email, or text. Each lender's use of your information is governed by that lender's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read before accepting an offer.

We may also share information with:

  • Service providers that host our website, deliver email and text messages, provide analytics, or help prevent fraud, under contracts that limit their use of the data
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, users, or the public
  • A successor business in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy

We may receive compensation when we share your request with a lender or partner. Our advertiser disclosure explains that relationship.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep our website working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand which advertising brought you to our site.

Essential cookies help the request form function and protect against abuse. Analytics cookies tell us which pages are useful. Advertising cookies and pixels, some placed by third parties, help measure campaigns and may be used to show you ads on other sites. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly without them. Some browsers send a do-not-track signal; because no common standard exists for responding to it, our site does not currently change its behavior in response, except where a state law requires recognition of a specific opt-out preference signal.

How We Protect Your Information

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and administrative and technical safeguards designed for sensitive financial data, though no system can be completely secure.

Our request form uses encrypted connections. Access to personal information is limited to staff and service providers who need it to perform their work. We review our safeguards periodically. Please protect yourself as well: never share passwords, and be cautious of anyone who contacts you asking for an upfront fee to approve a loan. We will never ask for such a fee.

Your Choices and How to Opt Out

You can opt out of marketing emails, texts, and calls from us at any time, and you can ask us to stop sharing your information with partners for their marketing where the law gives you that right.

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Text: reply STOP to any text message from us.
  • Phone: ask the caller to place you on our internal do-not-call list, or call (888) 945-4689.
  • Cookies: adjust your browser settings or use available advertising opt-out tools.

Opting out with us does not stop communications from lenders or partners that already received your request. Contact them directly to opt out of their messages. You may still receive transactional messages about a request you submitted.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our service, meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods depend on the type of record. Consent records for calls and texts, for example, may be kept for several years because laws require proof of consent. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably identify you.

Children's Privacy

Our website and service are intended only for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 or under the age of majority in their state.

If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

State Privacy Rights

Depending on the state where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Several states, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others, have consumer privacy laws that grant some or all of these rights. Some financial information is covered by federal law instead, such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and may be exempt from certain state rights. To make a request, contact us using the methods below. We will verify your identity before acting, and you may use an authorized agent where state law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, and the revised version takes effect when posted on this page, with the update notice shown at the top of the page.

If we make material changes to how we use or share personal information, we will provide notice as required by law. Your continued use of our website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

How to Contact Us About Privacy
